Socialism 2017 will be held at the University of Sydney from Friday the 18th until Sunday the 20th of August.

The conference will take place in the Carslaw building, on the corner of City Road and Eastern Avenue (next to the City Road footbridge and bus stop).

Follow us on Facebook for conference updates.

The conference will commence with an opening night panel on Friday night at 6:30PM and will continue on Saturday and Sunday from 10AM until 6PM. Registration for conference attendees will open each day half an hour prior to the conference commencing.

Socialist Alternative wishes to acknowledge that Socialism 2017 will be taking place on stolen Aboriginal land - the land of the Gadigal people. Sovereignty of this land was never ceded and we acknowledge not only the genocide against Aboriginal people which continues to this day, but also the ongoing resistance by Aboriginal people. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
