As we are forcibly reminded every Anzac Day, the Frontier Wars by Aboriginal resistance fighters against the invasion of their land are never to be spoken of. This session will celebrate Indigenous resistance, which does not end with the brilliance of warriors like Pemulwuy, Windradyne and Jandamarra. Aboriginal leaders have played a key role in Australian working class struggle. From Munmaring (Daisy Bindi) to Chicka Dixon, their names and militancy need to be better known.
